For UK plumbers, heating engineers and trades firms
You're on a job. FrontDeskOwl answers the enquiry.
When you can't pick up, FrontDeskOwl replies on WhatsApp, asks your questions, and offers real free times from your diary. Nothing is booked, priced or promised until you tap Confirm.
Now taking on a small number of UK pilot firms.
Confirm · Other time · Decline
Example only: sample firm and customer.
How it works
Calls you miss are caught
Your mobile forwards calls you don't answer. The caller hears your greeting and can press 1 to get a WhatsApp message, or leave a voicemail.
A reply within a minute
FrontDeskOwl is built to send the first reply within 60 seconds, from your own WhatsApp Business number, using Meta's coexistence onboarding, so you keep your number and your app.
Your questions, in your order
Job type, postcode, urgency and photos, with tap-to-answer buttons. It answers common questions from the facts you give it, like the brands you work on or your fixed call-out fee.
You tap Confirm
The customer picks a real free slot from your diary (ServiceM8, or the times you set). You get a card on WhatsApp: Confirm, Other time or Decline. The visit is only booked after your tap.
Every lead is written down
Each enquiry is added to your own Google Sheet, with a full timeline of what was said.
Your rules, not ours
- Nothing commits you without your tap. No prices (except a fixed fee you mark as sayable), no dates and no promises.
- You can step in any time. Reply from your own WhatsApp app and the assistant stops for that conversation.
- It says it's automated if a customer asks, and never pretends to be a person.
- Customers can opt out. Reply STOP and they never hear from it again. Messages are about the customer's own enquiry, never marketing.
- One switch pauses everything. Outgoing messages stop straight away.
- Customer data is stored in the UK (London). Some processing happens outside the UK, and our privacy policy lists where.
